Religious celebrations

The 2025 Patronal Feast of Montegrosso (Andria) opened with the solemn triduum from August 11th to 13th in preparation for the solemnity of the patron saints, culminating on August 15th with the Eucharistic celebration and the procession of the statues of Saint Mary of the Assumption and Saint Isidore through the village streets.

Festive evenings

The civil program enlivened the village on August 15th and 16th. The highlight was the Ferragosto concert on August 15th at 9:30 PM, featuring the show "Senza Fine" by singer Attilio Fontana, a journey through the songs that have made the history of Italian singer-songwriter music, with the participation of Luciana Bottalico and an ensemble of musicians. There was no shortage of tastings of traditional Apulian products, amidst the flavors and rural atmosphere of the village.

A choice of sobriety

The 2025 edition was distinguished by the absence of the fireworks display, as a sign of respect for the victims of ongoing wars: a decision that confirmed the intimate and communal character of this peasant festival of the Andria Murgia.

Triduum and religious celebrations (August 11-15)

• August 11-13 — Solemn triduum of preparation for the patron saints at the parish church
• August 15 — Solemnity of Saint Mary of the Assumption and Saint Isidore: Eucharistic celebration and procession through the village streets

Friday, August 15 — Ferragosto Concert

• 9:30 PM — Attilio Fontana in "Senza Fine", a journey through great Italian singer-songwriter music, with Luciana Bottalico and an ensemble featuring Andrea Festa (drums), Pasquale Buongiovanni (bass), Domenico Lopez (guitars), and Michele Lorusso (piano)

Saturday, August 16

• Evening — Shows and entertainment with local and regional artists, accompanied by tastings of traditional Apulian products

Out of respect for the victims of ongoing conflicts, there was no fireworks display in the 2025 edition.
