Montecoronaro Wild Boar Festival

The 2025 edition of the Montecoronaro Wild Boar Festival, the 42nd, took place on July 19 and 20 in the large green area of the Verghereto hamlet (FC), in the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennines. Organized by the Pro Loco Montecoronaro with the hunting team, it offered two days of mountain cuisine with polenta and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, wild boar stewed in wine (salmì), and grilled dishes served at the food stalls. The program included the Lumberjack Pentathlon, sports competitions, market exhibitions, children's games, and musical evenings with ballroom dancing, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved summer events in the upper Savio valley.
