Edition 2025 — Christmas Festival

The 2025 edition of the Monte Sant'Angelo Christmas Festival enlivened the Gargano village from December 8, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with a very rich and almost entirely free program. The Municipality allocated over 11,000 euros to support the associations involved. Highlights included: the lighting of the illuminations and the Christmas Parade on December 8th, videomapping in Piazza de Galganis, the gospel concert by Prince Aka and Ruth Whyte, chamber music by the Time2Quartet, the widespread nativity scene of the Via dei Presepi, and traditional pettolate.

The 2025 Christmas Festival

From December 8, 2025, to January 6, 2026, Monte Sant'Angelo experienced a month of Christmas events spread across squares, churches, the Castle, and the Villa Comunale. The Municipality approved an allocation of over 11,000 euros to support the numerous associations that built the program, with funds allocated to cultural and social activities.

Key moments

The season opened on December 8th with the lighting of the illuminations and the roving Christmas Parade. Among the most anticipated events: the gospel concert by Prince Aka and Ruth Whyte (December 22), chamber music by the Time2Quartet (December 23), the opera gala, videomapping in Piazza de Galganis, the Santa Claus Village, and the "La Via dei Presepi" exhibition, the widespread itinerary active from Christmas Eve to Epiphany. There was no shortage of bagpipers, children's theater, themed parades, and pettolate organized by the Social Center and AVIS, along with solidarity initiatives in social-health facilities.

Realized by the Municipality of Monte Sant'Angelo with the Puglia Region, the Gargano Internal Area, and a network of associations, parishes, and schools, the festival confirmed its popular and community vocation, with all events free and open to the public.
