Edition 2025 — Monte Iato in... Spring Festival

The third edition of "Monte Iato in... Spring Festival" took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in San Cipirello, along Via Roma and on Monte Iato. Originally scheduled for April 25, it was postponed as a mark of respect for the national mourning declared following the passing of Pope Francis. A day of hikes, tastings, workshops, live cooking, and music, featuring an evening concert by Cecilia Gayle.

The 2025 edition: the third, on June 1st

The third edition of "Monte Iato in... Spring Festival" was held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in San Cipirello (PA), following its postponement from the original date of April 25 due to the national mourning for the passing of Pope Francis. The day followed the usual program spread along Via Roma and on Monte Iato.

At 9:00 AM, the info-point opened along with the nature hike on Monte Iato; at 10:45 AM, the "Marcia Lunga" departed from Piazza Matrice, while stands with local food and wine products opened from 10:30 AM. From 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, workshops for children, entertainment, live cooking, and tastings (ricotta, arancine, cannoli, chocolate, and other specialties) took place. In the evening, at 8:00 PM, musical entertainment was provided by Cecilia Gayle. The free event was organized by the Municipality of San Cipirello with the Sicilian Region and managed by the Associazione Cresciamo Insieme APS.

Programme

9:00 AM – Info-point and departure for the nature hike on Monte Iato; 10:30 AM – Opening of stands with local food and wine products; 10:45 AM – "Marcia Lunga" departing from Piazza Matrice; 11:00 AM-6:00 PM – Children's workshops, entertainment, live cooking, and tastings (ricotta, arancine, cannoli, chocolate); 8:00 PM – Musical entertainment with Cecilia Gayle.
