Monte Cornacchia E-Bike 2025 – Third edition

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the third edition of Monte Cornacchia E-Bike – Cycling the Dauni Mountains took place, with a 9:00 AM start from Roseto Valfortore and an expected arrival around 1:30 PM. The loop route of approximately 40 kilometers and 960 meters of elevation gain traversed some of the most charming stretches of the Dauni Subappennino.

Participants rode through the villages of Faeto and Castelluccio Valmaggiore, skirting the enchanting Lake Pescara and reaching the highest point in the region: the majestic Monte Cornacchia (1,152 meters above sea level), known as the "roof of Puglia." Along the way, refreshment points were set up with fresh fruit, dried fruit, and water, while upon return, at the Paduli recreational area, a convivial lunch featuring typical local products was held.

The edition was organized by the Municipality of Roseto Valfortore with the ASD BikeFortore, the Pro Loco, and the AVRV Civil Protection, with the patronage of the municipalities of Faeto and Castelluccio Valmaggiore.
