Edition 2025 — Mondo BBQ
The first edition of Mondo BBQ & Country Fest inaugurated at Appia Joy Park in Rome on May 24-25, 2025, with a format entirely dedicated to grilling and world cuisines. The event hosted an official SCA European BBQ competition, with a Golden Ticket for the Texas BBQ Worlds 2026 up for grabs, showcooking by Grillpacco, and the Roma BBQ Experience with Clara Alimenti.
There was also plenty of room for country culture, with dance lessons and live concerts by the Rambling Hearts and TCR – Tribute Country Rock & Folk featuring Jessica Casula. The event, with free admission, confirmed Appia Joy Park as a reference point for outdoor gastronomic events in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, in Lazio.
