Mondello Sport Festival 2025 - first edition
The first edition of the Mondello Sport Festival was held from May 1 to 4, 2025, on the beach of Mondello, in Palermo. Conceived by Tonica, led by Francesco Tomasello and Alessandro Restivo, and sponsored by the Municipality of Palermo, the Regional Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment, and the Presidency of the ARS, the event promoted a healthy lifestyle through sport.
Activities included fitness sessions open to all, organized by Muoviti and Sirius, swimming competitions by Polisportiva Mimmo Ferrito, an official FIPAV beach volleyball stage by Gala Sport Academy, and beach soccer animated by Kick Off. Three talks hosted by journalist Nadia La Malfa, dedicated to mobility, health, road safety, and tourism, preceded the evening shows.
Every evening featured DJ sets and concerts with artists such as Il Pagante, DJ Tennis, Mr. Belt & Wezol, and Zero Assoluto. The event, which attracted over 20,000 visitors, laid the foundation to become a fixed appointment in early May in Mondello.
