Mondello Cup 2025 – 9th Edition

The ninth edition of the Mondello Cup, organized by the Now Team, was held on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, 2025, in the village of Mondello, Palermo. Over 300 athletes took part in the sprint distance races, featuring a 750-meter swim in the Gulf of Mondello, 20 km of cycling in Parco della Favorita, and a 5 km run along the seafront.

In the men's race, Daniele Gambitta (Magma Team) won with a time of 1:00:45, ahead of his teammate Enrico Schiavino (1:01:00). Among the women, Nicoletta Santonocito succeeded with a time of 1:11:47, followed by Cristina Ventura and Matilde Pavone. The program also included youth Aquathlon events, confirming the inclusive vocation of the event in the municipality of Palermo, Sicily.
