Molfetta Living Nativity

The Molfetta Living Nativity has become a fixed appointment on the city's Christmas calendar. During the 2024-2025 holiday season, the event returned to animate the cloister of the Basilica Madonna dei Martiri, on the Molfetta seafront in the province of Bari, with the usual evening route and free admission.

Under the direction of the APS Melphicta Nel Passato association, the performers brought to life the scenes that have characterized the representation for years: from biblical tales to daily life of the past, with the fisherman's boat, the tavern, artisan workshops, and the reconstruction of Bethlehem. The Epiphany period confirmed the traditional appeal of the Procession of the Three Wise Men, the most anticipated moment for families who reach the Basilica every year to relive the atmosphere of the Molfetta Christmas.
