2025 Edition
The Purple Cauliflower Festival of Moio Alcantara was held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in the town center between Piazza Municipio and Piano Mercato. For one day, the village in the Alcantara Valley, in the province of Messina, celebrated its signature product with tastings of traditional and creative purple cauliflower dishes, live cooking shows, and craft and local product markets. There was also a dedicated menu accompanied by local wines, roasted chestnuts, and a program of music and entertainment, with car gatherings that attracted visitors and curious onlookers to the heart of the Etnean valley.
