Edition 2025 — Peach Festival

The 37th edition of the Moio Alcantara Peach Festival took place on August 9 and 10, 2025, opening at 6:00 PM on Saturday. In Piazza Piano Mercato, the stalls offered local peaches in wine, lemon, and vodka versions, along with granitas, ice creams, jams, and the traditional peach cake. The evenings were enlivened by shows, music, and dancing, confirming the success of one of the most beloved festivals in the Alcantara Valley.

The 37th edition 2025

The 37th Moio Alcantara Peach Festival was held on August 9 and 10, 2025 in Piazza Piano Mercato, in the Municipality of Moio Alcantara (Province of Messina). The festival was organized by the Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco.

Throughout the two evenings, visitors were able to taste the peaches of Piano di Moio in classic preparations - with wine, lemon, and vodka - along with artisanal granitas, ice creams, and jams, culminating in the cutting of the large peach cake. The program included shows, live music, and dancing, in an atmosphere of an authentic popular festival that attracted numerous visitors from the Alcantara district and north-eastern Sicily.
