Modulazioni – Resounding

The 2025 edition of Modulazioni – Vertigo, the fourth of the Cuneo early music festival, inaugurated the three-year cycle «The Genius Heritage», focusing on Iberian music and its international influences. From June 19 to 22, the San Francesco Monumental Complex and the Diocesan Museum hosted a series of concerts dedicated to South American Baroque cancioneros, the glosas of Diego Ortiz, tarantellas, Sephardic songs, and Domenico Scarlatti.

The festival opened on Thursday, June 19, with «CrossCover», a project blending early music vocal repertoire with experimental electronics, in collaboration with Mets and the Ghedini Conservatory of Cuneo. A final weekend in September concluded the edition, bridging Italian Renaissance, Latin American Baroque, and new sounds.
