Edition 2025 — Misteri di Santa Cristina

On July 23rd and 24th, 2025, Bolsena renewed the tradition of the Misteri di Santa Cristina, which were part of a broad calendar of celebrations in honor of the patron saint that began on July 12th and concluded in early August. On the evening of the 23rd, the statue of the Martyr was carried in procession from the Basilica to the church of SS. Salvatore, with living tableaux set up along the squares of the historic center; the return procession took place on the morning of the 24th.

The 2025 edition of the Misteri di Santa Cristina in Bolsena took place on the usual dates of July 23rd and 24th, as part of a calendar of religious and popular events dedicated to the patron saint. The Bolsena community once again brought to life the living tableaux that reenact the martyrdom of the Saint, with the participation of numerous performers and the spectacular Serparo scene. The evening and morning processions crossed the five squares of the historic center, confirming the deep devotion that binds the village to its young martyr.
