Misterbianco Wine Awards 2025 - Third Edition

The third edition of the Misterbianco Wine Awards was held on June 7 and 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at the "Nelson Mandela" Gallery in Misterbianco, in the province of Catania. Among the novelties of the year was the event's move to the beginning of summer and the inclusion of Slow Food Catania in the organizing team, alongside the Municipality of Misterbianco and ONAV Catania.

Over 100 Sicilian wineries offered more than 400 labels at the tasting counters, accompanied by masterclasses, sensory workshops, and conferences on wine, olive oil, and wine tourism. The ONAV technical jury determined the winners, who were awarded on the red carpet:

• Best Sparkling Wine: Metodo Classico "Maria Elena" by Vincenzo Trigona;
• Best White Wine: Etna Bianco Superiore "Rachele" by Azienda Di Rachele;
• Best Rosé Wine: "Rosachiara" by Poggio di Bortolone;
• Best Red Wine: "Faro DOC 2021" by Tenuta Rasocolmo.

The event, held under the patronage of the Sicilian Region and the Metropolitan City of Catania, confirmed its role as a showcase for the viticultural excellence of Mount Etna and Sicily.
