Miracoli Living Nativity

The Miracoli Living Nativity returned in December 2025 to the grounds adjacent to the Basilica della Madonna dei Miracoli in Casalbordino (Chieti), with events on December 28 and 29 and a repeat performance on January 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The edition was dedicated to the figure of Saint Joseph, a symbol of humility, quiet work, and deep trust in God. The sanctuary's Oratorio San Benedetto was brought to life by biblical characters, shepherds, the Three Wise Men, and farmers in an engaging atmosphere. Among the most touching moments was the Holy Family scene, featuring Francesca Dell'Osa as Mary and Alessandro Di Filippo as Joseph.

The event, which offered free admission, confirmed its role as a cherished Casalese Christmas tradition, attracting visitors from neighboring towns in the Vasto area.
