"Mira, il Teatro fa Centro" is the season of the Teatro di Villa dei Leoni, the municipal venue housed in the barchessa of the 17th-century Villa Contarini-Pisani, on Riviera Silvio Trentin in Mira, in the province of Venice. From November to March, the programme offers nine events alternating drama, dance, storytelling, and music, featuring prominent national performers.
Drama, dance, and new languages
The programme mixes classics reinterpreted in a contemporary key, comedy, civil theatre, and dance performances, in a balance that has made this series a reference point for audiences in the Riviera del Brenta. The intimate and cosy hall allows for direct interaction between stage and audience.
Millemondi: theatre for families
Alongside the evening programme, the Teatro di Villa dei Leoni offers Millemondi, the Sunday series dedicated to families and children, with performances suitable for children aged 3 and up. An opportunity to introduce younger generations to theatre in a welcoming environment.
A community theatre
The season is curated by La Piccionaia together with Arteven and the Municipality of Mira, with the support of the Veneto Region. The artistic management makes the Teatro di Villa dei Leoni a stable cultural hub for the Mira area.

The 2025/2026 edition of "Mira, il Teatro fa Centro" confirms the nine-event format featuring drama, dance, and music, from November to March, at the Teatro di Villa dei Leoni in Mira. The programme alternates comedy, revisited classics, and new stage languages, with nationally renowned performers.
Alongside the evening season, Millemondi continues, the Sunday series for families with shows suitable for children. Subscriptions start from approximately 105 euros, single tickets from 18 to 22 euros.

The Teatro di Villa dei Leoni is located at Riviera Silvio Trentin 5 in Mira (VE), along the Brenta canal. Mira is reachable by car from the SR11 and the A4 motorway (Mira-Oriago exit), and by bus with intercity lines from Venice and Padua.
