Mira Fantasy is the event that brings the world of fantasy and cosplay within the walls and gardens of Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari, the renowned Venetian villa overlooking the Brenta Canal in Mira, province of Venice. For one day, the 18th-century villa is populated by elves, wizards, druids, knights, and fantastic creatures, in an enchanted kingdom atmosphere.
Cosplay, Market, and Performances
The heart of the event is the cosplay contest, which celebrates costume as an artistic language. Alongside the parades, there is a fantasy-themed craft market — jewelry, hand-carved wands, accessories, and illustrated books — as well as street performances, medieval music, and shows that animate the villa's gardens. The numerous scenic spots of the residence offer perfect backdrops for photos of participants in costume.
A Day for Families and Enthusiasts
Organized by Comix, known for its festivals dedicated to comics and pop culture, Mira Fantasy combines a passion for fantasy with the promotion of one of the most beautiful villas on the Brenta Riviera. The event is designed for a wide audience: children under 12 enter for free, making it an ideal event for families too.
