Milonga dei Bizantini 2025
On Sunday, August 24, 2025, Crecchio became a small capital of Argentine tango for one night. In the splendid setting of the Ducal Castle and the ancient medieval village, about 150 dancers from all over the region and beyond Abruzzo danced in the open air from sunset until late at night.
The evening was organized by VivArt & Calesita with the collaboration of the municipal administration of Crecchio; the musical selection was curated by DJ Anibal Castro. Within the castle walls and the alleys of the historic center, the milonga created a suspended atmosphere where past and present met in the embrace of tango.
