Edition 2025 — Milazzo Film Festival

The eleventh edition of the Milazzo Film Festival took place from March 6 to 9, 2025, at the Teatro Trifiletti. Under the artistic direction of Mario Sesti and Caterina Taricano, it featured short film competitions with 226 entries from around the world, a documentary competition, and numerous guests from Italian cinema, including Sergio Rubini, Vanessa Scalera, and Sonia Bergamasco.

2025 Edition

The eleventh edition of the Milazzo Film Festival was held from March 6 to 9, 2025, at the Teatro Trifiletti in Milazzo, under the artistic direction of Mario Sesti and Caterina Taricano. The short film competition received 226 entries from all over the world, alongside the international documentary competition.

Guests included Sergio Rubini, Vanessa Scalera, Sonia Bergamasco, director Marco Tullio Giordana, set designer Marco Dentici, and young actor Francesco Gheghi. Among the award winners: the Polifemo Prize to 'Sante o Puttane' by Giovanni Dinatale, the Posidonia Prize to 'Damji', the INAIL Prize to 'Mercato Libero', and the Joseph Maria Lo Duca Prize to 'The Ballad'.
