Italy's Largest Rugby Festival

In Cernusco sul Naviglio, in the province of Milan, the Milan Rugby Festival is now an international event: six days in which the Ermanno Zacchetti Municipal Sports Centre becomes the heart of Italian rugby and beyond. Organized by ASD Rugby Cernusco, founded in 1979, with the patronage of the Italian Rugby Federation, the festival brings together sport, community, and entertainment in one big event.

Rugby from All Over Europe

The festival hosts around 60 teams, over a thousand athletes, and more than 25 foreign teams from the United Kingdom, France, Malta, Cyprus, Albania, and Jordan. Sevens rugby tournaments for men and women, the Under 14, 16, and 18 youth categories, and, among the latest additions, a Veterans 10s tournament are held on the field. A variety that makes the Milan Rugby Festival a showcase of rugby at all levels.

Sport by Day, Celebration by Night

The festival's winning formula lies in mixing sport with celebration: matches and sports activities by day, concerts, DJ sets, food village, and social gatherings by night that accompany the public until midnight. Entry is completely free for all days, for both matches and evening events, making the event accessible to everyone.

With an expected attendance of around 70,000 visitors over the six days, the Milan Rugby Festival is one of the most important events on the calendar for Cernusco sul Naviglio and the Milan hinterland. A phenomenon that combines sporting passion with a festive dimension, capable of transforming a rugby tournament into a great popular celebration with international appeal.
