Sport and Celebration at the Idroscalo

The Milan DEEJAY TRI is the big summer triathlon celebration held at the Idroscalo of Milan, within the municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan. Born from a collaboration with Radio Deejay, the event combines athletic competition with the typical festive atmosphere of the radio station.

How it's Raced

Triathlon combines three consecutive segments – swimming, cycling, and running. At the Milan DEEJAY TRI:

• The swimming takes place in the waters of the Idroscalo, starting from Spiaggia Bosco;
• The cycling follows a circuit around the lake;
• The running winds through the park, on a completely flat course.

Various distances are offered, from sprint to Olympic, to accommodate both specialists and amateurs.

A Mass Event

With over a thousand triathletes at the start line, the Milan DEEJAY TRI is one of the most attended and beloved events of the summer at the Idroscalo. The presence of Radio Deejay adds music, entertainment, and spectacle, transforming the race into a true celebration of sport open to everyone.

The Idroscalo Setting

The artificial body of water, known as Milan's 'sea', provides the ideal stage: the shores allow spectators to follow the races closely, in an atmosphere of enthusiasm that draws participants from all over Lombardy and Italy.
