Edition 2025 — Midsummer Night
The 2025 edition of Midsummer Night enlivened Piazza Terme in Merano with three evenings of free music in August, featuring tributes and major guests from the Italian scene. The program ranged from the international rock of U2 to symphonic reinterpretations of pop icons, and the world music of Tony Esposito, all starting at 9:00 PM with free admission in the evocative setting of the South Tyrolean spa town.
Midsummer Night 2025
The 2025 festival featured three free concerts in Piazza Terme in Merano, all starting at 9:00 PM:
- August 7 – Velvet Dress, a tribute to the greatest hits of U2;
- August 14 – Merano Pop Symphony Orchestra with «Simply the Best – Tour 2025», a symphonic reinterpretation of rock and pop icons like Phil Collins, Queen, Toto, Aerosmith, and Coldplay;
- August 15 – Tony Esposito, with Luca Artioli & La Banda del Sur, for the 40th anniversary of «Kalimba de Luna».
The 2025 edition was also organized by the Merano Tourist Board as part of the city's summer program.
