Edition 2025 — Michettiano Festival

In July 2025, the Michettiano Festival returned to animate Tocco da Casauria with a new edition dedicated to Francesco Paolo Michetti and his bond with Gabriele d'Annunzio. As per tradition, the festival offered theatrical performances, concerts, conferences, and book presentations in the symbolic locations of the Pescara village, confirming its status as one of the top cultural events of the Abruzzo summer within the Tocco d'Estate programme.

The 2025 edition of the Michettiano Festival renewed the tribute in Tocco da Casauria, in the province of Pescara, to the painter Francesco Paolo Michetti and the famous circle of artists and intellectuals that linked him to Gabriele d'Annunzio. Following the path of previous editions, the programme intertwined theatre, music, conferences, and editorial presentations between the Sala Michetti, the Teatro Michetti, and the squares of the historic centre. The event, promoted by the municipal administration as part of the Tocco d'Estate programme, attracted a large audience, reaffirming the village's role as a guardian of the Michettiano artistic legacy in Abruzzo.
