Edition 2025 — MessinaCon

The tenth edition of MessinaCon took place from September 5th to 7th, 2025, at Villa Dante in Messina. Three days dedicated to comics, video games, animation, and pop culture, featuring meet-and-greets, workshops, tournaments, and the grand cosplay contest on the final day. The tenth-anniversary edition featured guests from the world of voice acting and content creation, with the support of the Municipality of Messina and Messina Social City.

MessinaCon 2025, the tenth-anniversary edition

The tenth edition of MessinaCon was held at Villa Dante, in Messina, from Friday, September 5th to Sunday, September 7th, 2025. A special anniversary edition that confirmed the event as one of the most important pop culture appointments in Sicily.

The program spanned comics, video games, animation, and pop culture, with meet-and-greets and signing sessions, workshops curated in part by the Scuola del Fumetto di Palermo, tournaments, and DJ sets. Announced guests included voice actor Claudio Moneta, author Daniele Bertazzi, and Messina-based content creator Mario Sturniolo. The event concluded on September 7th with the grand cosplay contest.

The 2025 edition was accompanied by preview exhibitions in the city, including an exhibit dedicated to the 40th anniversary of "Back to the Future," confirming the bond between MessinaCon and the city's cultural fabric.

Programme
