Mesagne Theatre Season

The 2024/2025 Theatre Season at the Municipal Theatre of Mesagne, promoted by the Municipality with Puglia Culture, enlivened the historic centre of the town in the province of Brindisi with a rich and varied programme between January and April 2025.

The season alternated between the tragicomedy of Maurizio Micheli in "Nessuno è perfetto", the tribute to Pino Daniele in "Nero a metà Experience", "Pirandello Pulp" with Massimo Dapporto and Fabio Troiano directed by Gioele Dix, the satire of Pinuccio, the social theatre of Sara Bevilacqua with "La stanza di Agnese" dedicated to the wife of judge Paolo Borsellino, the Neapolitan comedy of Giovanni Esposito, and, in closing, the Apulian comedy of Emilio Solfrizzi and Antonio Stornaiolo with "Il cotto e il crudo". Performances took place at the Municipal Theatre on Via Federico II di Svevia, in Mesagne.

Written and directed by Maurizio Micheli, with Elisabetta Mandalari (tragicomedy).

31 January 2025 — "Nero a metà Experience"

Tribute to Pino Daniele with Gigi De Rienzo, Ernesto Vitolo, Agostino Marangolo, and other musicians.

8 February 2025 — "Pirandello Pulp"

By Edoardo Erba, directed by Gioele Dix, with Massimo Dapporto and Fabio Troiano.

21 February 2025 — "Non mi trovo"

With Alessio Giannone (Pinuccio), surreal satire with projections.

7 March 2025 — "La stanza di Agnese"

By and with Sara Bevilacqua, dramaturgy by Osvaldo Capraro.

19 March 2025 — "Benvenuti in casa Esposito"

With Giovanni Esposito, Neapolitan comedy.

22 April 2025 — "Il cotto e il crudo"

With Emilio Solfrizzi and Antonio Stornaiolo, Apulian comedy.
