Edition 2025 — Merktoberfest

From September 20 to October 5, 2025, Merktoberfest enlivened Mercato Centrale Rome with a long tribute to Bavaria: stalls offered dishes inspired by German tradition, from beer-braised pork shank to pizza with sauerkraut and sausage, paired with Baffo d'Oro and Erdinger beers also served in large one-liter steins. The highlight was the Grand Oktoberfest evening on October 2.

Merktoberfest 2025

The 2025 edition of Merktoberfest took place from September 20 to October 5 at Mercato Centrale Rome, in the Esquilino district. For two weeks, the market stalls enriched their menus with Bavarian-themed dishes, such as beer-braised pork shank, Oktoberfest-style pizza with sauerkraut and sausage, and hot dogs with beer-stewed onions, to be accompanied by the official Baffo d'Oro and Erdinger beers.

The culmination of the event was the Grand Oktoberfest Evening on Thursday, October 2, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM: at 6:30 PM, the beer-tapping masterclass at Spazio Fare, on the second floor of the market, followed at 7:30 PM by live folk music that enlivened the internal square, for an evening of toasts and conviviality.
