Edition 2025 — Merchants' Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Carnival in Borgata Finocchio was held on Saturday, March 1, during the final weekend of the Roman Carnival. From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the masked parade crossed the neighborhood streets, with temporary traffic closures arranged by Rome Capital. A day of celebration spread among masks, music, and decorated shops in the 6th Municipality.

The 2025 Carnival in Borgata Finocchio

In 2025, the festival took place on Saturday, March 1, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, coinciding with the final weekend of Carnival in Rome. The masked parade started from Via Fontana Candida and traveled along Via Casilina, Via di Rocca Cencia, Via Mandanici, Via Motta Camastra, and Via Bolognetta, returning to Via Fontana Candida.

Rome Capital had signaled possible temporary traffic closures along the route for the duration of the parade. As per tradition, the event was free and open to everyone, with strong participation from families and children in costume, welcomed by the borough's merchants along the entire route.
