Merano WineFestival Preview 2025
On Friday, October 24, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the Peter Thalguter Culture House in Lagundo hosted the 2025 edition of the Preview, the traditional opening of the Merano WineFestival in the garden village of Algund.
Guests were able to taste over 200 Italian labels selected by Helmuth Köcher (WineHunter), including sparkling, white, rosé, red, and dessert wines, served by students from the SAVOY Hotel Management School. Highlights included sustainable PIWI wines and biodynamic productions from Lagundo, accompanied by regional and Italian specialties.
Tickets were available at tiered rates: €24.00 in advance, €29.00 from September 1st, and €35.00 at the door, including access to the tasting, gastronomic pairings, and the guide with the WineHunter's ratings.
