Edition 2025 — MEHT

The seventh edition of the MEHT – Monterosa Est Himalayan Trail took place in Macugnaga during the first weekend of August 2025, attracting hundreds of athletes from all over Italy and about fifteen nations. The four distances EPIC, SKY, SCENIC, and ZMAKANA' were contested, with the flagship race won by Michael Dola in 8h20'31".

The seventh edition of the MEHT – Monterosa Est Himalayan Trail took place in Macugnaga (VB) on the first weekend of August 2025, confirming the four-distance format plus the Mini Trail. The event attracted several hundred trail runners from all Italian regions and about fifteen foreign nations.

In the flagship EPIC (58 km, 4,100 m D+) race, Michael Dola (Avis Marathon Verbania) won with a time of 8h20'31"; among the women, Daniela Bonnet (Gasm Torre Pellice) took the victory. The SKY (39 km, 2,700 m D+) was won by Filiberto Vaira (G.S.A. Valsesia) in 4h58'54" and, for the women, by the German athlete Johanna Thon. In the SCENIC (21 km, 1,400 m D+), Carlo Bonnet (Sport Project VCO) won in 2h19'38", while the ZMAKANA' (13 km, 700 m D+) saw the triumph of Thomas Geneselli and the Danish runner Nicoline Friberg Klysner. The weekend concluded with the Mini Trail dedicated to the little ones and the final celebrations at the MEHT Village.
