Edition 2025 — Megiagùst

The 2025 edition of Megiagùst took place in Upega (Briga Alta) on August 15, Ferragosto. The Pro Loco of Upega offered its American-style barbecue with pulled pork sandwiches and smoked sausage, served at the Ballo venue in the village. The event was part of the hamlet's rich summer calendar, alongside the Mangià Brigasc traveling tasting.

In the summer of 2025, Megiagùst enlivened Ferragosto in Upega, a hamlet of the municipality of Briga Alta, in the province of Cuneo. The Pro Loco of Upega reprised the American barbecue format, with pulled pork sandwiches and smoked sausage, in the heart of the stone village.

The event was part of the Pro Loco's summer program, which also included Mangià Brigasc, the traveling tasting of traditional Brigasco dishes through the village streets, with guaranteed indoor seating in case of bad weather. A summer of taste and conviviality in the mountains of the Piedmontese Tanaro Valley.
