Edition 2025 — Medieval Week
Medieval Week 2025
The Medieval Week 2025 was held in Trani from August 8 to 10, in a particularly significant edition as it celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Trani Tradizioni association. The historic center and the Swabian Castle provided the backdrop for three days of re-enactment, featuring the Nox Templariorum, the Wedding of King Manfredi, combat displays, costumed processions, odalisques, jugglers, and live music.
The final evening on August 10 followed a tight schedule: the story of the royals told by Madonna Marianna (8:10 PM), the celebration of the Wedding of King Manfredi and Princess Elena Comneno (8:20 PM), the performance of the odalisques (8:50 PM), greetings from the authorities, and the famous burning of the Castle (9:00 PM), followed by the triumphal procession through the city streets (9:40 PM) and the Green Clouds concert (10:00 PM). The route of the historical procession was modified for safety reasons, starting at 9:45 PM from the Swabian Castle.
