Edition 2025 — Medieval Trapani

The 12th edition of Medieval Trapani took place from 14 to 16 November 2025 at the Real Complesso Monumentale di San Domenico. Three days full of events enlivened the historic centre with costumed processions, a medieval village, falconry, and shows, to commemorate the figure of Manfredi of Trinacria in the Aragonese heart of Trapani.

12th edition: 14-16 November 2025

The twelfth edition of the 'Manfredi di Trinacria' Historical Re-enactment was held from 14 to 16 November 2025 at the Real Complesso Monumentale di San Domenico, in Trapani. On Friday, 14 November, the Church of San Domenico hosted the inauguration with a tribute to Manfredi and a concert of ancient Sicilian instruments with Aragonese historical tales. On Saturday, 15 November, the Cloister was the stage for a fire show. On Sunday, 16 November, the Royal Procession paraded from the Church to the Cloister with participants in medieval attire, followed by final performances and the illumination of the Bell Tower.

During the days, there was no shortage of the historical village in the Cloister, falconry with the 'baptism of the glove', and free guided tours of the Church, the Chapel of the Crusaders, and Manfredi's tomb. The event, free of charge and sponsored by the Municipality of Trapani with the Rectory of San Domenico and the collaboration of Pro Loco Trapani, is recognized by the Ministry of Culture.
