Edition 2025 — Medieval Solstice

The Medieval Solstice of Montecatini Val di Cecina was established in 2026: its first edition took place on June 20th and 21st of that year. In 2025, the event as it is known today had not yet taken place. However, the Val di Cecina village, in the province of Pisa, has a long tradition of summer events in its historic center, which provided the ideal setting for the medieval reenactment later inaugurated by the Pro Loco.

The Medieval Solstice is an event that was established in 2026: the first edition took place on June 20th and 21st of that year, organized by the Pro Loco of Montecatini Val di Cecina.

In the summer of 2025, this specific festival had not yet been instituted. Montecatini Val di Cecina, a hillside village in the Province of Pisa, nevertheless boasts a historic center and a Castle that have long served as a backdrop for summer events, the context from which the new reenactment dedicated to the summer solstice was born.
