Edition 2025 — Marineo Medieval Living Nativity
The 2025 edition of the Marineo Living Nativity
For the 2025-2026 Christmas season, the Castello Beccadelli Bologna hosted the medieval re-enactment set in 1223, organized by the GMG Marineo Association and the Confraternity of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. The performances were held on December 25, 26, and 28, 2025, and January 4, 5, and 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Along the 23 scenes animated by about 150 performers, visitors were able to observe blacksmiths, carpenters, farmers, and housewives at work, as well as animals and ancient tools of rural civilization. At the end of the route, the Nativity and tasting stands featured typical local products, including pasta with wild boar ragù (tasting contribution 5 euros, children up to 10 years old free).
