Edition 2025 — Medieval Festivals – Abbey 1092

The 2025 edition of Feste da Medioevo was held from June 6 to 8 in Monteveglio (Valsamoggia), opening the Zappolino700 celebrations for the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Zappolino (1325–2025). Three days with medieval dinner, battle re-enactment, encampments, ancient crafts, dances, and tournaments between the Abbey and the Rainbow Park.

The 2025 edition of Feste da Medioevo took place from June 6 to 8 at the Abbey of Monteveglio, on Via San Rocco in Valsamoggia. The event opened the celebration path for the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Zappolino of 1325.

On Friday, June 6, at 8:30 PM, the medieval dinner with online reservation was followed by the show "La donna Corvo" (The Crow Woman). On Saturday 7, from 2:30 PM, historical encampments, ancient crafts (apothecary, paint stall, miller, tailor, blacksmith, parchment maker, goldsmith, carpenter, leatherworker) and medieval groups between the castle and the Rainbow Park; at 8:30 PM the re-enactment of the Battle of Zappolino and at 9:30 PM medieval dances with the group Gaudio Malatesta of the Compagnia Mons Jovis and the fire show. On Sunday 8, from 10 AM, crafts, games, and archery tournament; at 3 PM a historical conference on Zappolino, at 5 PM the historical parade, and in the evening flag throwers and dances.
