Edition 2025 — Medieval Festival Saint Sigismund
The Medieval Festival of Saint Sigismund stems from the revival of an ancient tradition: the Saint Sigismund fair in Rivolta d'Adda has been documented since 1453 in Milanese archives. The saint has been linked to the town's identity for centuries, with the parish church and the Romanesque basilica dedicated to him.
The re-enactment, promoted by the Pro Loco Rivolta d'Adda, brings this historical connection back to life through combat groups, flag-wavers, ancient crafts, and costume parades, enhancing the cultural heritage of the Municipality in the province of Cremona.
