Edition 2025 — Medieval Evenings

In the summer of 2025, the village of Itieli, a hamlet of Narni, once again relived its past with the Medieval Evenings. Within the castle walls, historical re-enactments, fire-eater shows, medieval music, and taverns with typical products unfolded, in a carefully crafted atmosphere that attracts visitors from the nearby villages of southern Umbria each year.

The 2025 edition of the Medieval Evenings animated the village of Itieli (Narni, Terni) with the usual formula: historical re-enactments, fire-eaters, medieval music, drummers, and armed guards within the castle walls, and taverns serving typical products, especially the schiacciata baked in the ancient wood-fired ovens rekindled for the occasion. As tradition dictates, euros were exchanged at the entrance for specially minted coins, to be spent along the festival route.

Programme

Historical re-enactment in the village of Itieli with costumed figures, fire-eaters, medieval music, and drummers; taverns with schiacciata and typical products. Exchange euros for period coins at the entrance.
