Edition 2025 — Medicea Wine Festival

The 2025 edition of the Medicea Wine Festival confirmed the summer tradition of wine in Cerreto Guidi. In the historic center, at the foot of the Villa Medicea, Montalbano wineries enlivened the Street Wine event with tastings, street food, and music, while the traditional Mestolo d'Oro challenge saw the districts of the Palio del Cerro compete.

Medicea Wine Festival 2025

In 2025, the Medicea Wine Festival once again brought evenings dedicated to local wine to Cerreto Guidi, in the province of Florence. The established formula combined Street Wine in the Villa Medicea square — featuring stalls from Montalbano and Empolese Valdelsa wineries, street food, and live music — with the gastronomic challenge of the Mestolo d'Oro between the districts of the Palio del Cerro. As an annual prelude, the Rubino Mediceo Wine Competition evaluated labels from the region, with winners awarded during the festival.
