'Mbriulata Festival

The 2025 'Mbriulata Festival was held on Friday, August 8, 2025, in the historic center of Milena (CL), confirming the traditional appointment of the second Friday of August. Along Piazza Garibaldi and Via Nazionale, the stalls set up by the Pro Loco of Milena offered generous portions of 'mbriulata, the town's signature dish, accompanied by wines from the local area.

The evening combined gastronomy and popular culture: between tastings and conviviality, there was no shortage of Sicilian folk music groups and entertainment that draw tourists and former Milena residents to the town every year. The festival reaffirmed the role of the 'mbriulata as a traditional agri-food product of the Sicily Region and as an identity element for the community of this small town in the Province of Caltanissetta.
