Mazara del Vallo Half Marathon

22nd edition — November 30, 2025

The twenty-second edition of the Mazara del Vallo Half Marathon took place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, with over 600 athletes at the start, coming from ten different nations. The race, which started at 9:30 AM from Lungomare Giuseppe Mazzini, brought the Running Sicily – Trofeo Packitalia 2025 circuit to a spectacular close.

The 21.097 km half marathon, a national FIDAL Bronze Label event and Regional Individual Master Championship, was accompanied by a 7 km non-competitive race, which served as the 22nd stage of the Provincial Grand Prix. The spotlight was on the event records, 1h06'39 for men and 1h17'41 for women, and on the pre-race favourites, most notably Soumaila Diakite among the men and Luana Russo among the women.

2025 edition programme: start at 9:30 AM from Lungomare Giuseppe Mazzini (staircase), with the competitive 21.097 km half marathon and the 7 km non-competitive race running in parallel. The 7 km race served as the 22nd stage of the Provincial Grand Prix. Awards were given to the top three men and women overall, with an additional bonus for those who broke the event records.
