Mazara del Pesce – International Gastronomy Festival

The first edition of Mazara del Pesce was held from June 27 to 29, 2025, in the historic center of Mazara del Vallo, organized by Brhio srls with the support of the Municipality and the Sicilian Region. The inauguration, on Friday, June 27, in Piazza Santa Caterina, featured the Bersaglieri Fanfare and a dance performance.

Every evening, from 6 PM, the food stalls between Piazza Santa Caterina and Piazza Santa Veneranda offered fried fish, arancine, couscous, and other specialties of the local catch, while Piazza della Repubblica hosted the evening shows. There was no shortage of conferences such as "Donne di Mare" (Women of the Sea) and the charity walk "Fiume Azzurro" in support of the Borgo Blu project, as well as boat tours and cultural initiatives on the relationship between the city and the sea.
