May Fair

The 2025 May Fair was held in the historic center of Piazza Armerina in late May for three days. As per tradition, the streets of the center were transformed into a large open-air market frequented by residents and visitors from neighboring towns.

However, the 2025 edition saw some difficulties reported by certain vendors: the participation cost, amounting to approximately 290 euros for the three days (including public land occupation, processing fees, and stamp duties), was significantly higher than other fairs in the province, sparking a debate on the future of the event. Despite these critical issues, the May Fair confirmed its role as a key identity event for the community of Piazza Armerina.
