2025 Edition – 165th Anniversary

In 2025, the Garibaldi Celebrations in Marsala commemorated the 165th anniversary of the Landing of the Thousand, enriched by the coincidence with the 72nd National Gathering of the Bersaglieri. For three days, the city hosted military ceremonies, parades, conferences, food and wine moments, music, and entertainment.

The central day of May 11, the anniversary of the historic 1860 landing, featured a military ceremony and a parade of units with about thirty fanfares marching at the traditional running pace, preceded by a tribute to the civilian victims of May 11, 1943, at Villa del Rosario. The program also included the fourth edition of the "Garibaldi Challenge Marsala" sailing trophy, promoted by the municipal administration together with the Sailing Clubs Committee and the Italian Sailing Federation.
