Edition 2025 — May 1st in Malacappa

In 2025, the village of Malacappa in Argelato once again celebrated Labor Day with its traditional peasant festival on the banks of the Reno River. A tractor parade, walks, a bike ride from Funo, markets, exhibitions, and food stalls with the flavors of the lower Bolognese plain animated the day, focused on conviviality and free access reserved for pedestrians and cyclists.

The 2025 edition of May 1st in Malacappa renewed the appointment with the folk festival of the village of Argelato, in the Bolognese plain. As tradition dictates, the program combined the tractor parade - with gathering and blessing of agricultural vehicles - with walks and the bike ride from Funo, accompanied by artisan markets, exhibitions on peasant culture, and food stalls with typical Emilian dishes. Organized by Pro Loco Argelato with the support of the Municipality and local entities, the festival reaffirmed its connection to the rural roots of the territory, in an authentic atmosphere with free admission.
