May 1st Festival – Agricultural Float Parade

The 2025 edition of the May 1st Festival in Castelvetrano represented a moment of great symbolic and cultural value: the return of the agricultural vehicle parade after more than thirty years of absence. On Wednesday, May 1st, 2025, starting in the morning, tractors, agricultural machinery, and work vehicles paraded along the streets of the center, from Viale Roma to the Sistema delle Piazze.

Here, the trade unions promoted the message "For safe work, prevention is the solution", reiterating the deep meaning of Labor Day. The event was organized by the municipal administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco Selinunte. In the afternoon, the celebrations moved to Marinella di Selinunte with musical moments, entertainment for children, and DJ sets.
