Mauro Monni Popular Theatre Festival

The 27th edition of the Mauro Monni Popular Theatre Festival took place from June 29 to July 5, 2025, at the Borgo di Colleoli Resort in Palaia, Tuscany, with free admission. Four evenings of popular theatre brought the village to life, confirming the formula that makes the festival a beloved event for the Valdera community.

The programme opened on Sunday, June 29, with "Verrà Domani" by the La Tartaruga Group from Forcoli; it continued on Tuesday, July 1, with "Zingari", directed by Olga Melnik; on Thursday, July 3, with "Le Tre Marie" by the Compagnia dei Medici from Florence; and concluded on Saturday, July 5, with "La Cena dei Cretini" by I Pinguini from Florence. Performances started at 9:30 PM.
