Matelica Wine Festival

The Matelica Wine Festival 2025 was held from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the historic center of Matelica (province of Macerata), confirming itself as the reference summer event for Verdicchio di Matelica.

The event, organized by the Association of Producers of Verdicchio di Matelica, brought together over eighteen wineries from the area — including La Monacesca, Belisario, Gagliardi, Villa Collepere, Lamelia, and Tenuta Grimaldi — with tasting counters in the historic center. Among the most appreciated moments were the historical verticals with over ten vintages available for tasting (from 2011 to 2024) in the foyer of the Teatro Piermarini, the tasting dinners with local food pairings, and the guided tours towards Monte San Vicino, with views of the valley.

The edition confirmed the growing attention from the industry press towards this high-altitude white wine, welcomed in Matelica by journalists and bloggers from all over Italy.
