Massafra Carnival

The 72nd edition of the Massafra Carnival was held between late February and early March 2025. The most anticipated evening was that of February 27, with the 'Grand Masquerade Ball of the Thursday of the Fools' in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele (8:00 PM - 12:00 AM), animated by DJs from Praja di Gallipoli and special guests Federico Scavo and Mark Lanzetta.

The festival continued with two masked processions: March 2, with entertainment for children on Corso Roma (10:30 AM) and the first masked procession (5:00 PM) from the stadium square to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, and March 4, with the second masked procession along the same route in reverse order. Despite organizational difficulties that limited the presence of traditional allegorical floats, the edition still featured masked groups, character masks, and entertainment for families in the center of Massafra.
