Edition 2025 — Masculina Festival

The 2025 edition of the Masculina Festival took place from July 1st to 3rd at the Aci Castello harbor. For three evenings, the seaside village on the Cyclops Riviera celebrated the 'masculina da magghia' with a menu dedicated to the anchovy, served fried, grilled, and 'a beccafico', accompanied by artisanal bread and Sicilian wine, amidst music and a festive atmosphere at the foot of the Norman castle.

From July 1st to 3rd, 2025, the harbor of Aci Castello (CT) hosted the Masculina Festival, dedicated to the anchovy caught in the waters of the Cyclops Riviera. For three evenings, visitors were able to enjoy the masculina da magghia in all its traditional variations — fried, grilled, and 'a beccafico' — accompanied by artisanal bread, wine, and other Sicilian specialties.

The event, promoted by the CreAttiva AciCastello Cultural Association, enlivened the seaside village with music and entertainment, framed by the Norman castle and the Cyclops sea stacks. An appointment that every summer brings back to the local waterfront one of the most iconic recipes of Catanese seafood cuisine.
