Marzolina and Olive Festival of Esperia

In August 2025, Esperia celebrated the 40th edition of the Marzolina and Olive Festival, an important milestone for one of the longest-running food and wine events in the Ciociaria region. In Piazza Roma, the heart of the Aurunci village, the Pro Loco and the municipal administration renewed the event dedicated to the marzolina, a Slow Food Presidium goat cheese, and local olives.

The evening featured food stalls with typical local products, artisan markets, re-enactments of ancient crafts, and folk music performances. The success in attendance, which has remained constant and progressively grown over the years, confirmed the value of the festival as a tool for promoting local products and tourism in the Aurunci Mountains.
